studio to po ma is founded by Lars van Es. To combine his work with his background in both Architecture and Fine Art.

He graduated in Architecture at the Cooper Union in New York and in Architecture and Fine Art at the Maastricht institute of the Arts. 

He is both a licensed architect and interior architect.

Beside his work as architect he has been teaching in recent years design courses and workshops at different master educations for Architecture. Including the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam and Arnhem and the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.

Currently he is teaching at the Academy of Architecture in Arnhem.

For his work he received several grants from the Netherlands Foundation for Visual Art, Design and Architecture.
